Woo!

October is "Woo!" Month! How can I resist a Halloween theme for October's Masthead? Two dogs howling at the moon couldn't be more appropriate. "Rhymes with 'Boo'" is aimed at my Siberian Husky and Siberian Husky friends. Unfortunately, Juno doesn't actually "woo" and oddly, Loki "woo's" at Emergency vehicles as if he were a Husky. I wonder if Juno will ever find her "woo?"

The background image is a combination of a gorgeous haunted pumpkin patch photo with a full moon in fog photo. I'm glad I take so many pictures of the dogs because I always seem to find the perfect shot for what I'm aiming to do each month. Or maybe I'm just lucky.

Have a festive October! May the "Woo" be with you!

  1. Woooos To Woo! Love the picture! I am sorry you have no woo. I understand Miss Fluffy Tail herself (Khyra) does not either, maybe someday... I have always wooed, but never on command or a the moon, just when I want something! Scampi is picking it up from me, but his sound more like yelps!

  2. Don't give up on Juno! I thought Storm would never learn to howl. Seven years later now she does. In fact last night Jackal and I were having one of our barking talking back contests and she joined us with her beautiful voice. 🙂

  3. How khlever The Wild Dingo Human is!

Yes, Kira The BeaWOOtiful is khorrekht - I rarely rarely woo - I do have an impressive yappy snappy bark but no real woo.

Evfurry now and then, I'll let out with one - of khourse, my human doesn't have the video on fur THAT - I'm soooo Sibe!

  4. I found my inner "woo" in my sleep one night. Momma was not surprised that I didn't wake up Dad or Eva yet she heard me from the other end of the house.

  5. Wooooooooooooo!
Zimmie howled like a coyote when he first got here (he was about 1 1/2 years old). He had been chained to a tree that whole time, so he learned to talk from the coyotes who'd talk to him at night. When he got here and I gave birth to him, I taught him to howl like a Sibe. He does a good mix of both now. Maybe you should send Juno to me?

  6. What a great pic!!! You are so clever. Mom keeps saying she WILL learn photoshop but it is so hard.

Dakota was our real wooer. She had a very sweet voice. Phantom woos when he feels like it and TD has such a whiney off pitch woo, we all hope he keeps quiet.
