Happy Juno-versary!

Happy Anniversary Juicy!  -  175/365

It’s Juno’s 8th birthday and 7th year adoption anniversary this weekend. Juno loves adventure and going to new places. I’m so happy to have been able to give her so many exciting adventures in her first few years with us including traveling and hiking in Europe.

Being so sick the last two years have been harder on me than her. The guilt of not being as active as we used to be is harder than the damn Lyme disease itself. Like me, Juno faces some level of pain every day, but hers from hip dysplasia. Instead of wallowing in it, she giggles as she gooses me in the butt to get my gear on for our walk. She tells me that she can find just as many adventures and funballs in simple walks close to home. While Loki may have saved us from a house fire, Juno saves me from myself, every single day.

Happy anniversary Juicy, my beautiful girl! You light up our lives! There will be ice cream pup cups in town after dinner tonight.
