Big Paws to Fill

Big Paws to Fill

All is well. I can almost walk around without constantly checking my instruction packet. German commands just bubble out of me without any effort. Juno and Loki have been patient with us whether it's getting up in the morning or assembling their meals. Yesterday we played a lot in the yard. Today, we played and took a walk to the Christmas tree farm and all went well except they were so excited at the start it was hard to get all the collars and leashes set up.

About the only unexpected thing is that they don't want to sleep in the same room with us. We've dog sat before and you couldn't keep the dogs out, so we are a little surprised. They are sleeping on their dog beds in the office so I know they are comfortable and am definitely not worried.

I have NO doubts those two are behaving ;-

  2. Good to hear that Wild DIngo didn't staple the instructions to your hand!

They probably have things like shoes and drugs stashed under their dog beds just waiting for you to fall asleep.

  3. Ha roo, TravelMarx! Thanks for putting a post up. You know we're all worried about Juno and Loki.
Did you want them to sleep in the room with you? If so, that would explain why they chose not to. At least that would explain Juno. It's a Siberian thing.
Oh... also... did Mr. and Mrs. Wild Dingo remember to tell you to cook Loki and Juno and roast turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberries - and the trimmings - and a sweet potato pie? I know Mrs. Wild Dingo may have gotten busy and could have forgotten. Oh, and dinner rolls with butter. Lots of butter. No... no need to thank me (or to double-check with the Wild Dingos). I'm a Siberian Husky... and I'm here to help.

  4. Ha! Behaving? The shoe fairies told me all about the 2 shoe incidents that occured some time after I left.

And that Storms of the A04 sure is sneaky... don't you dare cook those 2 turkey, mashed potatoes, and pie. Not after that potroast you cooked them!

Stay safe. If the wild fires travel your way, throw the 2 dingoes in the car and abandon ship. find nearest hotel and hunker down till we get back.

big slobbery kisses to my badly behaving german command ignoring quadrapeds.

  5. Ha - sounds like the manual our Mom would leave if she left us at home with others:) And we are sure the pups are behaving - look at the smiles on those faces.
