Green and red. Life and death. Something must die for some other to live. Daily, the forest in my back yard reminds me of the circle of life.
I may not have noticed if it wasn't for Loki's fascination with the fern at the corner of Nitwit Bridge. He spent a good few minutes taking in all the scent of the fern. It was obvious from the freshness of the blood splattered on the fern, that the event happened merely an hour or two before we arrived.
My imagination isn't alive enough to tell a story. Yet, the evidence is enough to fill in the blanks. Nature's allagory of life and death symbolized in two colors.
