Loki’s been giving into the temptation to chase deer lately. So much so, that we have to put up a fence along one of the borders of our property to keep them from chasing deer into the road. (Don’t worry, the deer have 2 open borders and tons of acres for escape routes.) I never thought I’d say this but today Juno was the good dog and immediately called off a deer chase today while Loki was all “speak to the paw, that deer needs my attention.” He may be eight and a half years old but he’s still full of himself.

What is that gorgeous plant in the background? My mom would love that since purple is her favorite color.
