I don’t get it, but this little gal Mona sitting beside Retardo, seems to have picked him as her new BFF. Swear to Dog. Loki has accidentally plowed her down once or twice running around like a fool, but she only sees her BFF acting silly. In the long run, they’re good pals and Loki does pay her the respect she deserves.
The other day, after a long walk by the lake, I opened the car door for the cracker and the criminal to jump in. Little Mona followed so quickly, she didn’t give her mom a chance to stop her. And she looks to Loki for reassurance that she’s not only welcome, but pleads with him to convince the bi-peds to let her stay with her BFF.
“Awe, come on Mom. The party doesn’t have to end. Let’s take it back to Casa Wild Dingo where we can take a siesta in that relaxing garden while munching on that endless supply of raw meaty bones you’re hiding in the freezer.”
No problem. And would you all like Dogerita’s or Dog-hitos with those raw bones?

OMD, look at that adorable pleading expression in that last photo! Loki, we think you have a bestie for sure.

Isn’t it funny how dogs do pick furiends. All of mine have done it at one time or another. Gizmo and Bart both have LOVED Joe – a big golden than we meet on our walks. They – or now Bart – Zoomes and bounces and pounces whenever we meet him. SO cute 🙂
Steve & Kat says:
Mona has the “sad eyes” down to a science. I think I’m pretty good at it, but I bet she could teach me a thing or two.

The WriggleButts says:
We’d certainly go with the raw meatables! 😉

Zim and Dave says:
I don’t see how you could resist those faces. Honestly.
There’s no explaining how you choose your BFF. I think Zim’s (other than ME!) is the Calico Kitty. He loves her. Or maybe Fluffy Black Cat. It used to be Harper, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen (PBGV), but Harper tried to mount Zim last time they met up and Zim’s just not into that kinda thing. Woo.
Luv,
Dave
PS: Could they have little umbrellas in their beverages?

Love the look on Loki’s face in #2 pic! How could you refuse to let Mona come visit?

Mango says:
Guess she just finds his bad boy behaviors irresistible.

The Thundering Herd says:
Careful – next thing you know, there will be 6 dogs at the house. It starts so easily.
Mr. WildDingo says:
I would be okay with 6 dogs, but would have to step up my travel schedule of course.
