This was the object of their kilroy desires. These two eat very well: raw meat, raw bones, veggies, and cooked food (not cooked bones) every day. I've never seen them so enjoy any of it more than they enjoyed just the meat and sauce off these sweet and sour sticky ribs on New Year's day for their special celebration. Can't blame them. Mr. Wild Dingo and I were pretty happy eating our share too. The aroma of ribs braising in sweet and sour sauce all day under low heat, hit all four of us, each time we entered the house from outside and made us giddy with anticipation for dinner. From the way they each savored over the sauce in their plates, it's obvious that dogs appreciate complex flavor as much as we do. Which makes feeding dogs real food, food that we share and enjoy together, that much more fun.
Wow, Juno looks insanely adorable in that pic! Is that her "hungry puppy" face? Chili doesn't that and also looks insanely adorable at that time. 😉
