Happy Juno-versary!

It was Juno's eleventh Gotchya Day with us so we celebrated the only way she wanted to--at the beach! This little girl may look like a husky but she embodies everything the opposite of one. For one, she loves the water and loves to play in the surf.

First, while surfers surfed, Juicy scoped out all their unguarded snacks. Don't worry, I kept a watchful eye over the criminal. I didn't want the weekend to end up with us bailing out the criminal over a misdemeanor!

We took the leash off so she could enjoy the waves on her terms. Loki kept a watchful eye and punked her once for taking being too risky in her moves. So we kept him nearby while we could get plenty of shots of Juno since it was her day. It wasn't long before Juicy dipped her toes in the warm surf.

"Dude, you're supposed to be on TOP of the surfboard. Even I can catch a wave," says the smart alec, Juicy.

Then Juicy made a friend. He was the calmest, most chilled-out surf dog on the beach. Believe me, there were plenty of ill-behaved pups but this dude was everyone's pal. Juno was smitten.

They got to know each other a little better but I will keep the rest of the photos to myself since some of them might make a girl blush.

"Hey stud, how about a romp in the waves with a real woman?"

"Sweetlips, I thought you'd never ask!"

"Sand, saltwater and sun. What more could a pup ask for?"

It's been a while since we've been to the beach so it was a big day for us. Needless to say, it was the quietest trip home we've ever had with these two. Even the cracker, who NEVER sits down in the car, was out cold.

Happy Anniversary, Juicy! We love woo to the moon and back!
